News: Makati (Glorietta) Bombing

It was after our lunch break (1:30 pm Manila Time) when the bombing at Glorietta happened. Our office is just a couple of minutes away from the place. I was on the verge, sort of, of completing my Objective Settings and Self-Assessment when the police/ambulance siren started waling along Ayala Avenue. We were then notified that an explosion occurred at Glorietta. We were not that alarmed since the information was that it was caused by a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Later on, it was announced that a bomb caused the explosion. We, then, started monitoring the event through the internet (GMA and ABS-CBN news). Good thing, we (me and my officemates) didn't have any plans on going to Glorietta to have lunch. As usual, our company's security team was late in their announcement. Moving on... Later that night, while watching the news on tv, I got goosebumps when they showed a video of what was happening inside the mall during the explosion, lady (guard) screaming, hazy background, tensed atmosphere. Damn frightening!
