Personal: Sick

...and here I am blogging instead of watching Transformers... *sigh*

We are supposed to watch Transformers: The Movie later, but due to an unforeseen humanly condition, the now planned date has been canceled... Sorry By! I'm very disappointed since I've wanted to watch that movie for so long. Well, there's always another day, should I say.

Yesterday, Bambi, one of my officemates, was spoiling the story, good thing there's this 'Block Contact/Person' in AimPro. But, unfortunately, that didn't prevent him. He still went to our cube to spoil some of the parts of the movie. Anyway...

Enough with Chuck Norris!!!

Chuck Norris has invaded Nathan's head that Nathan always spoke of non-sense Chuck Norris "facts". He was saying those "facts" for more than 3 freaking hours, I guess. Here's the link to that site and might as well bug some other people...lol... http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/

Yesterday was also a tiring day... I felt "sorta kinda" stressed, good thing I at least know how to laugh it off... Moving on...

*sniff* *sniff* I have to take a bath even if I have flu. *sigh*

Personal: An Unplanned Date

Yesterday, June 16, me and my girlfriend had an unplanned date at Robinson's Place in Ortigas.

I was on my usual routine yesterday morning, doing nothing of course, I mean watching Bleach (online). *Grin*

Bige, my girlfriend, was on her way to the office. I usually go to their house every Saturday so that we could spend some quality time together, but she had to go to the office to meet her deadline. She called me the moment she arrived at the office. And then, she asked me if I would want to watch a movie after work. I was a little surprised when I heard that since I had no plans of going out, I was not even motivated to take a bath (not until later that afternoon though...Hehe...). Eventually, I agreed.

At around 5:30 pm, we met at Rob's food court, where Regine Tolentino and someone else were having a show at the center stage. Having no intentions of watching whatsoever, me and my gf went to the cinemas to check t
he schedule. Since it was almost 6 pm, we decided to watch "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" which will start at 6. The movie was good, I think it's better than Spiderman 3. Before the movie, one of the trailers caught my interest. The movie is entitled "Martian Child", a romantic drama starring: John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Joan Cusack, and Bobby Coleman. Check its website, by clicking the image below, for more details on the movie.

After watching the movie, we ate at Chef D' Angelo, where we had the usual "Sampler 1" meal, we couldn't think of any other meal than that. Hehe.

We went to Timezone after dinner, where we coincidentally met Bong, my former officemate's boyfriend (Janelle). Bige and I played some games just to spend the 200 pesos load of our Powercard. We strolled after playing, window-shopping as usual. And before we go, we had Chocolate Cream frap from Starbucks.

Spending time with your loved one to unwind is fun and relaxing. I did enjoy our unplanned date. :)

Music: The Other Records :)

as promised, here are the other records we were able to do last night during our practice.

Our cover for Paramore's Here We Go Again, now with two guitars and less mistakes, but with tired hands...
Timing for the intro is a little off but hey, it's a practice. :)

And, our cover for Your Guardian Angel (The Acoustic Song) by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The background is kinda noisy, so bare with me...heheh... Also, this is not yet our official recording... :)

Personal: A Mama's Boy's Sentiments...

What would you feel if you see your mom cry in front of you while she voices out her problems or expresses how she feels?

I've only seen my mom in that state twice. First, when I was still at elementary. When my mom thought that I ran away after being embarrassed in front of many people. That was the first time I really saw my mom cry. She hugged me tight after seeing me. I don't want to elaborate on this though.. I felt guilty, very guilty. Second, just a couple of days ago, when my mom was saying her problems to me. Problems that our family have right now. Now that I am not an elementary student anymore, I feel like I want to return that big hug to my mom. I know I'm old enough to handle that responsibility. Alongside this are big decisions that I have to make...

Personal: Some sort of Mall-Hopping

From SM North, to Trinoma, to Ever Gotesco Commonwealth just to buy a new computer table. The available computer tables in SM North are not that good compared to the one we bought in Ever Gotesco. While Trinoma doesn't have any furniture shops available yet. Speaking of Trinoma. it was my first time to visit this new mall from Ayala blah blah blah you-know-who. This new mall is built in front of SM North, and is connected to the MRT, North Avenue Station. We were not able to explore much of Trinoma since we haven't bought the computer table that time and it was getting late. We were just able to eat at Chef D' Angelo. ^^

Here are some pictures I took using my cam phone. The pictures are not of good quality since my hand was a bit shaky and I took it while walking/in a moving vehicle.

a productive saturday

It's been a productive day today. Our long time goal of disassembling our somewhat huge book shelf, which is also a computer table and a tv stand at the same time, is achieved. And now, even without a computer table, I am still able to open my pc and connect to the web. My CPU is on the floor, monitor is placed on a dining chair, mouse and keyboard on top of my bed, and the only source of light as I type is the monitor's glare (my sister hates it when the light's on when she's already sleeping).

It was my idea to disassemble that shelf and turn it to something smaller since I'm always having a hard time every time I tinker with my CPU. Tomorrow, we'll be buying a new computer table so that it'll be easier to move things around when I'm messing up my computer. HSBC will once again rejoice... *sigh*

Anyway, my girlfriend just called. She just got home from her company's teambuilding in Pagsanjan. It's a relief knowing that she's home safely. Now, it's time to sleep...
