Web: Do's and Don'ts with Babies

This made my night (night web surfing that is), after seeing the image of Sta Rita de Cascia's creepy eyes (no offense meant) from Ron's post... darn... it gave me the chills...

jeepney at bus driver = swapang

Manila, Manila, I'll keep coming back to Manila

Well, I'm back from my Singapore vacation. It was fun but not fun enough. But first and foremost, let me greet everyone a Happy New Year! Better late than never.

A brand new year but same old pc. Unfortunately, I'm still using my old desktop because I was not able to find the right laptop for me there in Singapore... oh ok, I'll be honest, my money's not enough. *sigh*

Anyway, I've posted some of my pictures in my Multiply page, kindly visit and comment if you have the time. I attempted creating a story of some sort, but then again, as what we always say: "Epal lang".

As what I've said earlier, the trip was fun but not fun enough. We (my family and I) were able to visit some of Singapore's tourist spots such as: Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Merlion Park (Marina Bay), Sentosa, Esplanade, Mustafa Centre (tourist spot?), Bugis Street, etc. However, we missed the Night Safari. My dad just didn't want to go there, darn!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at our hotel (Carlton Hotel) since the venue for Singapore's New Year's countdown at the Esplanade was already very crowded. Even the underpass on the way to the venue was already congested, same scenery you'll see when you ride the MRT here in the Philippines during rush hour. Carlton Hotel had their own countdown, having a few performers entertaining the little crowd and they offered discounts on some of their beverages.

*erased paragraph*

I actually was going to place a comparison between the Philippines and Singapore but come to think of it, there's no point in doing so. IMHO, Singapore is an ideal place in terms of discipline and cleanliness, but nothing beats the feeling of being at home here in the Philippines (you just have to get used to the dirty-ish environment and a few(?) undisciplined people). *Uhmm, I think I just did a comparison...*
